By the way, I often post more than one idea (photo) for a couple of reasons:The first being that I'm not sure one is actually better than other, just different; and the second reason being that I'm open to constructive criticism on how to make one or more better.

I took the opportunity to takes some protrait shots after just having had my hair done... however I much prefer using other test subjects;) It's a little difficult playing around with the lighting when you can't see through the lens.Any volunteers?

...moving past the subject of 'Animals in Captivity' (mostly b/c I am largely in disagreement but find myself at the zoo now and then)... I would like any suggestions on what would make one/more of these animal pictures "pop". They are difficult to begin with b/c of fences, wires and posts (and lack that all-natural african sunset) but seem a bit lifeless... perhaps that's why?

I've posted both pics b/c I got stuck on facial details and couldn't decide which was more post-worthy. Any opinions on which is better?I like how the first pic frames the photo but the second is a better all-around "child" photo b/c they're smiling so big!... ?

It's been a long while since posting, especially considering my original attempt to post one new picture each day... we have been super busy but I was able to take some during a beautiful sunset.I couldn't choose between the three photos so I just put 'em all up:)

White Boar Lake, 40 minutes West of Kimberly, BC.Quite possibly the hugest, most beautiful mountain I've ever seen! I'll admit I'm a little disapointed at the small justice these pics have done this mountain... none the less it is a beautiful place (and I'll take any tips on improvement - other than the fact that the sun is already beginning to set, which couldn't be helped)!
