Doherty Family Portraits

I took these formal family photos in my home yesterday afternoon... which left me little "creative" space but a lot of beautiful smiling faces none the less!
I pinned up a white bed sheet in the livingroom, allowing lots of natural light to flood through the windows. My only regret is not being able to find a bigger sheet;)

Maria In The Shower

They were playing at the Invermere Farmers Market on Saturday. Listening to them is always a pleasure and needless to say, you just can't sit down for long when you do - for one, you can't see over all the heads which gather, and second you really can't ignore the urge to dance, as you may... no matter how hard you try;)

~ The Princess Series ~

Princess Attie was able to make an appearance in the town of Canal Flats this morning... we were fortunate enough to capture the young Royalty in all her glory;)

There's something about a photograph of a child.
You can't help but see how beautiful they are, just the way they are, without any effort on their part:) Of course, I had a blast editing these b/c I think it adds a bit of "finishing touch", but they were actually quite good to begin with.
